Returns Policy

7. RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

7.1 No Refunds or Returns; should the ordered items reach the client in good order as advertised. Any usage and or partial consumption of goods, and or opening of packaging of goods, may render such goods as fully consumed, used up or depleted and thus unacceptable to be considered for return. 

7.2 Returns shall only be accepted if there are material defects and or imperfections in the manufacture of goods sold (also subject to be validation or confirmation of such defect by manufacturer and or distributors), or any legitimate flaw which renders the product less acceptable than what is reasonably expected and by applicable standards. Defects shall include material defects/imperfections in the manufacture of goods sold, or any legitimate flaw which renders the product less acceptable than what is reasonably expected and by applicable standards. Should manufacturer/supplier refuse to accept the return, we will not refund the purchaser and return the product to you by courier.

7.2.1 Hazzit Mkhulu reserves the right to refuse returns and refunds, should goods meet our, and our supplier/manufacturer standards and confirmation by supplier/s that the products are indeed in good order. 

7.3 Acceptable for returns goods must be: that which was not ordered (meaning wrong products delivered), damaged or flawed on delivery (see 8.1). Remedy by Hazzit Mkhulu will be the repair or replacement of such goods. The latter is subject to supplier/manufacturer rules. 

7.3.1 Such replaced goods will be as ordered by the User/Client. 

7.3.2 Users may return damaged or flawed goods within two (2) days and must to notify Hazzit Mkhulu in writing. 

7.3.3 If defective goods are received at the time of delivery, the User has two (2) days to notify Hazzit Mkhulu of their intention to return goods and in writing.

7.3.4 Once the above goods are received, we will repair the goods and failing such repair, will be replaced with new goods, provided stock is available. Should no repair or replacement be possible, a refund will be given to the User.

7.4  At management discretion and subject to 7.4.1, 7.4.2 & 7.5 below: Any cancellation of orders or a sale concluded resulting in returns due to reasons found not to be due to defects, imperfections or any action taken by Hazzit Mkhulu to remedy such a complaint, may result in a Cancellation or Returns Fee of 45% of the Sales Price of the goods sold. All Costs waivered at time of sale will be added back to the sales price (when calculating the 45%), which may include discounts, artwork or designer fee and or other service fees chargeable and or products not charged for, including waivered delivery fees (where applicable). 

7.4.1 This clause will only be applicable as a last resort or remedy and at management discretion, where Hazzit Mkhulu has performed as required in the transaction or sale agreement. This is also subject to all goods being returned as unused and not consumed and in the original and unopened packaging when supplied. As returns would need to be returned to our supplier in the original state as unused and in original unopened packaging. 

7.4.2 Any partial consumption or usage of products or full/partial opening of the packaging of items, will render the product unreturnable and no refund will be made. Also, should packaging be removed or partially opened or damaged or repacked or wrapped will be considered unreturnable. Unopened packaging is required in all cases where returns are not due to any defect in the actual product and where management has decided to accept the return (return are at managements discretion). Meaning products were supplied in good order to the user/client and the user/client has decided to return ordered goods for other reasons than due to problems with the product. 

7.5 We also will not swap goods for other goods or use the amounts paid for such goods as a credit to purchase other or similiar goods. 

8. THE BELOW WILL NOT BE REGARDED AS DEFECTS (USERS WILL THUS NOT BE ENTITLED TO RETURN GOODS UNDER THESE CIRCUMSTANCES):

8.1 If fault results from normal wear and tear due to usage and or initial use and later decision by purchaser to return, 

8.2 Damages due to negligence, user abuse, or incorrect usage of the product,

8.3 Damage caused by natural disasters, electrical surges and or sea/air corrosion;

8.4 Damages due to negligence by User (not taking product in good care/storage or state for usage).

8.5 Damages or product failure due to changes or customizations made to products;

8.6 Customization of product by User;

8.7 Damage caused by third parties handling, collection, transporting or attempts to repair/change state of goods;

8.8 In circumstances where goods, correctly described on our website, and being fit for application concerned, did not meet Users expectations or natural abilities to use goods, which shall extend to staff and third parties (of the User) using or handling the goods concerned, 

8.9 Inclusive of the above, should the User request that Hazzit Mkhulu change the product to meet User specifications and request this in writing or by verbal request. The User cancels right of return of products, should such modified goods, even after payment for such goods, after Hazzit Mkhulu has made modifications as per User instructions. Hazzit Mkhulu shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damages which might arise from modifying the Goods on the instruction of the User, and the User hereby indemnifies Hazzit Mkhulu against any such direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damages which might arise in such instances.

7.1 PPE / Workwear Terms & Conditions

At Hazzit Mkhulu (Pty) Ltd, we are committed to providing high-quality PPE and workwear at competitive prices, with excellent service to ensure our clients are fully satisfied with their purchases.

Because PPE and workwear fall into categories of personal use items, our Returns Policy is designed to protect the health, safety, and satisfaction of all our clients.

Returns Policy

Management Discretion – All returns are subject to management’s assessment and approval. We reserve the right to decline a return based on the condition of the item sold or other reasonable grounds.

Garments – Garments may be returned within 2 days of purchase, provided they have not been worn, washed, or damaged, and are returned in their original packaging.

Other PPE / Workwear Items – For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept the return of bodywear, footwear, safety equipment, or any other PPE/workwear items once purchased.

Correct Sizing – To avoid incorrect orders, please measure carefully (waist, chest, and shoulder size) before placing your order.

Size Charts – Please use the size charts available at the link provided to assist in selecting the correct fit.

Larger Sizes – Please note that larger sizes may carry additional costs.

Why Returns Are Limited

PPE and workwear are personal-use products; once issued, they cannot be resold to another client without compromising hygiene and safety.

Allowing returns only on unworn, undamaged garments within 2 days, subject to management approval, balances customer flexibility with health and safety obligations.

Final approval for all returns rests with management, ensuring fairness to both the business and our clients.

Our clients prefer new, unused products, and we are committed to meeting those expectations.

We kindly ask that you double-check your sizing and order details before completing your purchase to ensure complete satisfaction.

The User shall understand that these terms and conditions are applicable and accepted by the User by the mere usage of the website (www.hazzitmkhulu.co.za).
